What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues efficiently
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Compensation
- Approximately $30-$35 per hour + potential for overtime
- Approximately 40 hours weekly - full time - Monday to Friday
- (Compensation will be discussed further with the hiring manager based on experience and certifications.)
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with diesel engines (heavy-duty truck or fleet experience preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license (CDL a plus, but not a requirement)
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
