Description
Okie Staffing is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic who can work independently, diagnose issues quickly, and keep equipment running at peak performance. This is a hands-on role working on diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment in an outdoor environment year-round.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay Rate DOE 21.00 to $30.00
Overtime: Required as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related systems
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on trucks and equipment
- Complete engine repairs, overhauls, brake work, hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics
- Conduct inspections and identify mechanical issues before failure
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Safely operate shop tools and diagnostic equipment
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Support overtime needs based on workload
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair issues independently
- Must provide own tools
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Experience with heavy equipment, fleet, or truck maintenance
- A Plus to have ASE Certification, CDL, or OEM training
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing
