About DEUTZ

DEUTZ is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of innovative drive systems. Our expertise spans the design, manufacture, distribution, and service of diesel, gas, and electric drivetrains that power construction equipment, agricultural machinery, material handling fleets, stationary systems, commercial and rail vehicles, and more.

A Day in the Shop

You start your day in a well-organized DEUTZ Power Center, reviewing the work queue with the Service Manager (your direct leader). You plan repair methods, pre-order required parts, and stage your bay for efficiency. As engines roll in—DEUTZ and non-DEUTZ—you diagnose, perform preventative maintenance, and execute routine and complex repairs. You coordinate with Parts Specialists, consult the DEUTZ Service Department when needed, and keep customers updated with clear, respectful communication. Before returning equipment, you verify the cosmetic finish, return all unused parts per DEUTZ guidelines, and close out work orders and time sheets on schedule.

What You’ll Tackle

  • End‑to‑end shop repairs and preventative maintenance on diesel and related power systems
  • Accurate problem identification and solution matching to resolve failures
  • Methodical repair planning, parts pre‑ordering, and safe, compliant execution
  • Facility pride: keep bays clean, organized, and customer‑ready
  • Honest, professional customer updates; assist with warranty claims and invoicing
  • Adherence to established policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Timely, complete documentation for all work orders and labor entries

Who You Are

  • A self‑starter who thrives with minimal supervision and owns outcomes
