Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to repair and maintain Class 7 and 8 trucks and heavy equipment for a 1st shift direct hire opportunity with outstanding benefits.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform and maintain routine preventative maintenance and safety related repairs on all vehicles and mobile equipment
- Replace tires and brakes
- Diagnose pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems including component failures and repairs
- Welding
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Diesel engine/heavy equipment mechanic experience (Class 7 or higher truck repair skills)
- Ability to perform DOT safety regulated repairs
