Our Ford dealership is a full-service operation featuring Sales, Parts, and Service, and we're excited to offer technicians the opportunity to work in our brand-new, dedicated on-premises diesel repair facility (with heat and air conditioning!). This separate diesel shop is designed specifically for servicing diesel trucks, providing the space, equipment, and environment needed to perform high-quality repairs efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance as specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with Ford and dealership standards.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, transmissions, drivetrains, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, emissions systems, and electrical systems.
- Utilize Ford diagnostic equipment and specialized service tools to accurately identify and repair vehicle concerns.
- Perform warranty repairs in accordance with Ford Motor Company specifications.
- Communicate repair recommendations, additional repair needs, and estimated completion times with the Service Advisor.
- Complete repairs accurately while maintaining productivity in a flat-rate environment.
- Maintain thorough documentation of inspections, diagnostics, and completed repairs.
- Stay current with Ford diesel technology through ongoing training and certification.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of diesel technician experience preferred.
- Ford experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certifications and/or Ford certifications are a plus.
- Strong diagnostic, electrical, engine, and drivability skills.
- Ability to efficiently produce quality work in a flat-rate environment.
- Experience using electronic diagnostic equipment and service information systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to continuous learning.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
