Job Summary Robs Trucking & Truck Repair is looking for a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. We are a busy, hands-on repair shop that works on customer-owned trucks, fleet vehicles, and heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, and more.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, heavy equipment, and related systems
Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire work, brakes, and preventative services
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems on excavators, skid steers, and other heavy equipment
Use diagnostic tools and experience to quickly identify issues
Communicate clearly with customers about needed repairs and recommended services
Keep work areas clean and maintain accurate repair documentation
Help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient shop environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of diesel repair experience preferred (trucks and/or heavy equipment)
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work on a variety of equipment – trucks, excavators, skid steers, etc.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
ASE or other diesel/heavy equipment certifications a plus
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a small team
