    Diesel Technician / Heavy-Duty Mechanic

    Alliance Used Truck Center | Hartford, CT A Division of Freightliner of Hartford

    Pay Range: $28.00 - $40.00+ per hour (Based on experience)

    Bonus: Monthly Tech Incentive Program (Up to $1,000/month additional)

    Responsibilities

    Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks.

    Diagnose and repair diesel engines and complex after-treatment devices.

    Maintain a general understanding of all heavy-duty truck systems (brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.).

    Collaborate with management to suggest improvements to shop workflow and business operations.

    Qualifications

    Experience: Minimum of 2 years working on heavy-duty trucks.

    Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of diesel engines and emissions/after-treatment systems.

    Tools: Must possess a personal inventory of tools required for the trade.

    Mindset: A desire for continuous learning and a team-oriented attitude.
