Diesel Technician

classrow content-row-0 Diesel Technician Location: Mt. Juliet, TN Work Schedule: Multiple shifts available

Primary Function: Perform inspection, repair, and general maintenance on company equipment engaged in interstate commerce. Perform all aspects of preventative maintenance on the newest and best maintained fleet in the industry.

Skills:

• Working knowledge in the use of hand tools required.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to grow in position.
• Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
• Willingness to travel within proximity of terminal, close geographical area, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required.

While performing the duties of this job, regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of motor carrier equipment repair
• Must have a drivers license.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Education Required:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Military training and experience a PLUS
• Vocational Training / School ASE Certification preferred
