Job Description:

Penskes skilled team of 4,600 mechanics, 1,200 service assistants and 400 supervisors uses diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to keep our customers heavy-duty tractors, trucks, and trailers in top condition and on the road. Key Responsibilities:

At Penske we focus on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, parts replacement, and accessories - we do not conduct engine teardowns or transmission rebuilds as most of our equipment is newer and those items are mostly covered under warranty by the OEMs.

Training and Development:

Penske is the first and only truck leasing, rental and logistics provider to earn National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification for its continuing education program for fleet mechanics. Typically, youll receive at least 40 hours of state-of-the-art training each year on a variety of OEM equipment.

Career Path:

We offer a career path for any level of diesel technician looking to move your career forward. Entry Level, Journeyman, Journey Women, Refeer, Roadside Assistance, and Body Shop. Plenty of opportunity to grow in the shop, or into service management through our service manager training programs.

Benefits:

Penske offers extremely competitive salary and great benefits to our associates. If this sounds like a great fit for you please continue to apply, to be notified of future opportunities today or in the future.

The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
