The company has thrived as a family business through four generations and has grown to be a market leader and best in class innovator.Position SummaryOur Diesel Mechanic II are skilled technicians who's responsible for independently diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment. This position requires advanced troubleshooting abilities and working knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, emissions systems, and computerized diagnostics to maximize fleet uptime and operational efficiency.Schedule

    Monday- Thursday6:00 am- 4:00 pm

    Responsibilities

    Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, suspension systems, and electrical systemsPerform advanced troubleshooting using diagnostic software and electronic testing equipmentRepair and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and air brake systemsConduct DOT inspections and ensure fleet compliance standards are metComplete preventative maintenance and major component replacementsTroubleshoot emissions systems including DEF and DPF systemsPerform welding and fabrication repairs as neededMentor and train entry-level technicians and apprenticeRespond to emergency breakdowns and field service repairsMaintain accurate service documentation and parts usage recordsEnsure repairs are completed according to OEM and safety standardsCommunicate repair timelines and equipment status to supervisors and operations teams

    Qualifications

    Strong attention to detailRelevant Military experienceMathematical and mechanical aptitudeKnowledge of welding and torching3+ years of diesel mechanic experience in fleet, transportation, recycling, construction, or industrial environmentsStrong diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.Proficiency with OEM diagnostic software and computerized systemsExperience with air brakes and hydraulic systems preferredKnowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and emissions controlsBe over 18 years of ageSuccessfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
