DIETARY AIDE

Jefferson Community Health & Life is looking for a dietary aide

Hours: 6:30am - 12:30pm

Guaranteed 24 hours per week.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides timely, wholesome and high quality food and beverage and service to meet the needs and expectations of the customers using proper safety and sanitation procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• One year of food service experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contributes to a smooth, non-stop customer service operation providing high quality food, beverage, and service to ensure the needs of the customers are met.
• Assembly and delivery of hospital trays in a timely and efficient manner in accordance to the diet.
• Manages multiple patient menus for new admits, dismissals and diet changes.
• Helps with delivery, stocking, meal preparation, serving and dishwashing.
• Assists with cleaning the dining room areas and washing dishes.
