The Part-Time Dietary Aide plays an important role in supporting resident health, safety, and quality of life by helping ensure meals are prepared, served, and documented accurately according to individual dietary needs. This position serves as a key link between residents, families, dietary staff, and clinical teams to promote positive dining experiences and nutritional well-being.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Attend required training, staff meetings, and in-service education programs while maintaining positive working relationships with residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions; knowledge of basic nutrition, sanitation, and food storage practices preferred; ability to maintain regular attendance and meet applicable health requirements.
Availability to work 2:00PM - 7:00PM to include weekends and holidays.

As part of the recruiting process for this position, external applicants (job applicants NOTemployed by HHSC’s East Hawaii Region) are required to complete pre-employment assessments shortly after application submission. We ask that you complete the assessments within two days of receipt of the request.
Offers of employment will be contingent on successfully passing a pre-employment examination, which includes a drug screen and other regulatory medical requirements such as, but not limited to, a tuberculosis (TB) screen. The cost for drug screening and blood draw for QuantiFERON and Titers, shall be borne by the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation.
