Program & Location: New Bedford, High PointEducation: High School diploma or equivalent (GED)Pay Range: $20 - $23.50 per hour (Experience and Education dependent)Status: Per Diem, Sunday- Saturday, 6am- 2pm or 11am- 7pm or 2pm-7pm

About Us

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Dietary Aide Duties & Responsibilities

• Compliance with Federal Regulations, 42CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Patients and HIPAA Regulations
• Knowledge of Infection Control standards-hand washing, personal protective equipment (PPE) kits, blood spill kits, etc.
• Food safety certification required within the first year
• Preparation and serving of assigned meals following approved menu by the Nutrition Committee
• Opening/closing duties as assigned
• Other duties as assigned by the Site Director / Program Director / Director of Dietary to insure safe and appropriate operation of the facility

Dietary Aide Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or relevant work
• Must have the ability to work with chemically dependent, dully diagnosed and clients with other behavioral health issues
• Lift minimum of 50 lbs.
