    Dietary Aide

    Schedule: Rotating shifts, must be flexible to work every other weekend

    Location: Langhorne, PA

    Department: Dietary

    Reports to: Director Food / Nutritional Services

    Position Purpose:

    St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Per Diem Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Team!

    What You Will Do:

    • Dietary Aides are to complete daily responsibilities that may include meal assembly, cold food preparation, utility and dish room functions, and preparing coffee and other drinks in our coffee shop.

    • Preparing meals, snacks and beverages following specific procedures

    • Serving meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times

    • Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations

    • Setting up and taking down dining areas and assisting with kitchen maintenance and general cleaning

    • Assisting with educational programs on nutrition

    • Talking to patients on the phone and receiving their meal order

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)

    • Barista or food service experience

    • 1 year experience (minimum)

    • 2-4 years experience (preferred)
