The Dietary Aide works to provide wholesome, appetizing food presented in a pleasing manner in any setting i.e., catering, cafeteria or patient care. In patient care, this position ensures appropriateness of food for the diet as ordered. Regularly participates in the kitchen clean-up and dishwashing responsibilities and adheres to proper sanitation and safety practices at all times.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge:
Must be able to read and write in the English language.
Previous Food Service experience preferred.
Skills:
Good communication skills required.
Must be able to multi-task in an active and dynamic environment with frequent interruptions.
Must have good organizational skills.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and bend and stretch routinely without limitations.
