Position: Full-Time Cook
Location: Circleville Post Acute
Schedule: Full-Time (includes rotating weekends and holidays)
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary requirements
- Ensure meals are nutritious, appetizing, and served on time
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and infection control guidelines
- Work closely with dietary staff to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Accommodate special diets, including therapeutic and modified textures
- Assist with inventory, food storage, and minimizing waste
- Engage with residents and staff in a friendly, respectful manner
What We're Looking For:
- Previous cooking experience (healthcare or long-term care preferred, but not required)
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Dependable and punctual
