Twin Lakes Extended Care is hiring a full-time Dietary Cook to join our dietary team. This role helps prepare and serve meals for residents in a skilled nursing environment while maintaining quality, safety, and dietary standards.
Pay
$16.00 - $17.28 per hour
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to planned menus and resident dietary requirements
- Ensure food is properly prepared, portioned, and served
- Review meal trays for diet accuracy
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow sanitation guidelines
- Work with dietary staff to support daily meal service
- Follow food safety procedures and dietary instructions
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
- Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes, directions, and dietary guidelines
- Reliable attendance and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
