    Description

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a knowledgeable and people-focused leader to oversee daily dining operations, nutrition services, and menu program development across a high-quality food service environment. In this role, you will help ensure meals are prepared and served safely, efficiently, and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage dining, nutrition, and food service operations to support a positive guest or resident experience.
    • Oversee menu planning, meal production, portion control, and presentation standards.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
    • Develop and maintain staffing schedules, training plans, and workflow processes to support efficient operations.
    • Supervise, coach, and evaluate team members while fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment.
    • Monitor food quality, inventory levels, ordering, waste reduction, and budget performance.
    • Collaborate with clinical, hospitality, operations, and leadership teams to meet dietary needs and service expectations.
    • Address service concerns promptly and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction.
    • Maintain accurate records related to menus, production, compliance, purchasing, and team performance.
    • Support special events, therapeutic or modified diets, and other individualized service requirements as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in food service, nutrition services, hospitality, or a related operational leadership role.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and maintain high service standards.
    • Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and operational performance metrics.
    • Experience developing staff and promoting a respectful, team-oriented workplace.
    • Proficiency with common business and scheduling systems preferred.
