Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and people-focused leader to oversee daily dining operations, nutrition services, and menu program development across a high-quality food service environment. In this role, you will help ensure meals are prepared and served safely, efficiently, and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage dining, nutrition, and food service operations to support a positive guest or resident experience.
Oversee menu planning, meal production, portion control, and presentation standards.
Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Develop and maintain staffing schedules, training plans, and workflow processes to support efficient operations.
Supervise, coach, and evaluate team members while fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment.
Collaborate with clinical, hospitality, operations, and leadership teams to meet dietary needs and service expectations.
Address service concerns promptly and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records related to menus, production, compliance, purchasing, and team performance.
Support special events, therapeutic or modified diets, and other individualized service requirements as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in food service, nutrition services, hospitality, or a related operational leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and maintain high service standards.
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and operational performance metrics.
Experience developing staff and promoting a respectful, team-oriented workplace.
Proficiency with common business and scheduling systems preferred.
