Dietary Helper / server

Ridgeview Gardens Assisted Living is looking for :Responsible for assisting with some food preparation, washing dishes, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining room, and serving meals to the residents. Assist any residents that need help with their meals. The dietary aid works along with the dietary manager to prepare and serve meals and beverages. Server/dietary aid will also assists in clean up, kitchen maintenance, and setting up and taking down the dining areas. Other job duties include delivering food to residents' rooms, preparing and serving snacks, and taking inventory of food and kitchen supplies.Job Responsibilities:Serves all food according to the menu in a safe, sanitary manner under the direction of the dining services coordinator/managerMaintaining kitchen sanitation and safety standards under the direction of the Dining Services CoordinatorAssists in serving meals to residents within an assisted living community as well as maintaining standards of kitchen cleanlinessSetting up and taking down the dining areasFollows departmental procedures including sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedulesReports any concerns with the health and well-being of residents to the Resident Care Coordinator or NurseMaintains and protects the confidentiality of resident information at all timesMeets or exceeds, the standards of appearance; complies with the sanitation rules, hygiene and health standards of community personnelServes meals in a fine and gracious manner, ensuring the dignity and nutritional needs of the residentsAssists with putting away and organizing the weekly ordersHelps keep the kitchen and dining room clean and organizedInsures that the cleanliness of kitchen and dining area meets or exceeds the dietary manager's specifications and is in compliance with state regulationsPerform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisorJob Qualifications:Must possess a current Food Handler's PermitHave the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, supervisors, and associatesMust provide written proof of recent TB test or obtain within two weeks of date of hireMust be positive and deliver a WOW experience through servicePerforms unpleasant tasks with grace; works cooperatively with supervisors and displays willingness to assist co-workersWillingness to work with the elderlyInterested please reach out to me at - Brandi@ridgeviewgardens.com
