What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/span>

• Maintain a clean work area and assist with food prep, station setup, and stocking<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Answer patient calls, enter meal orders, and verify patient information<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Respond to menu questions and report nutrition, quality, or process concerns to the RDN<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Prepare and serve food according to recipes, therapeutic diets, and physician orders<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Maintain knowledge of menus, diet restrictions, allergens, and food/drug interactions<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Assemble and deliver patient trays; document deliveries and missed meals<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Conduct patient visits, support dietary consultations, and promote patient satisfaction<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Follow patient identification, safety, and service procedures<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Assist with cafeteria food service and nutrition room stocking<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Clean and sanitize kitchen, cafeteria, dish washing, storage, and assigned work areas<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Ensure food temperature standards, presentation, and chart completion<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li>
• Maintain security of assigned devices and a positive customer service attitude<\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    • High school graduate or equivalent preferred<\/span><\/span>

    • Ability to read and write, Computer literate<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 1+ year of institutional food preparation experience preferred<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Stand and walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Follow written and verbal instructions<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>
