What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations of the dietary department, including food purchasing, preparation, and service
- Lead, schedule, train, and evaluate dietary staff to maintain a strong, accountable team
- Ensure compliance with all Nebraska and federal regulations for long-term care dining services
- Maintain clean, organized, and survey-ready kitchen and storage areas
- Manage dietary documentation within the electronic health record system
- Partner with the Administrator to monitor budgets, control costs, and manage inventory
- Attend leadership meetings and contribute to facility-wide initiatives
- Develop and implement menus that meet clinical requirements while honoring resident preferences
What You Bring
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or equivalent certification (required)
- Working knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey expectations
- Experience in healthcare or senior living food service (preferred)
- At least one year of supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead a team while maintaining a positive, service-focused culture
