Lacon Rehab & Nursing is seeking a full-time Dietary Manager to oversee daily food service operations at our skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for leading the dietary team, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining food quality standards, and supporting the nutritional needs of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support dietary staff
- Coordinate daily meal service and food preparation
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and dietary regulations
- Monitor food quality, inventory, and kitchen operations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to meet resident needs
- Maintain accurate records and department documentation
Qualifications:
- Training or experience in food service management and nutrition
- Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare dining experience preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food safety standards
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Long-term care experience preferred
