Job Title: Dietary Services Professional – Make a Difference in Patient Care

Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in dietary or nutritional services, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of clinical nutrition principles and patient dietary needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and staff effectively
  • Ability to conduct detailed kitchen inspections ensuring compliance with safety and health standards
  • Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Certification as a Registered Dietitian or equivalent credential
  • Previous experience performing patient consultations and nutrition assessments
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and dietary guidelines
  • Bilingual skills to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
  • Prior experience working in hospital or clinical settings preferred
  • Valid licensure or certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) highly desirable

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel between Great River Medical Center and South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center
  • Ability to work approximately 30 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate shift needs
  • Compliance with all applicable healthcare certifications and licensing protocols
  • Reimbursements for travel and relevant certifications available when applicable
