Dietetic Technician at Eating Disorder Treatment Center

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dietetic Technician to join our team at Kahm Center for Eating Disorders in Burlington, VT. As a key member of our treatment center, you will play a crucial role in providing dietary support and care for individuals battling eating disorders, helping them on their journey to recovery.

Responsibilities: 

• Assist with meal support and nutritional counseling
• Facilitate nutrition and cooking group sessions
• Perform metabolic/body composition analysis
• Assist in the implementation of nutrition plans for patients
• Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress
• Assist with administrative tasks, when needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field 
• Dietetic Technician certification, preferred 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
• Demonstrates and consistently strives to maintain excellence in all mental health counselor job responsibilities
• Understanding of eating disorders and their impact on individuals is preferred

About Us:
The Kahm Center for Eating Disorders is a small family owned Vermont practice that treats eating disorders in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) setting. We are looking for dietitian technicians who are passionate about treating eating disorders and fostering meaningful relationships with the staff and patients as a part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
