Registered Dietitian
Payrate: $40-$43 per hour
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM CST (7.5-hour workdays)
Location: Bolivar, TN 38008 (On-site)
Job Description
Our client is seeking a dedicated, licensed Registered Dietitian to support a state facility in Bolivar, TN.
In this role, you will be responsible for professional dietetics work, including planning therapeutic diets and menus, administering medical nutrition therapy, and supporting the prevention and treatment of diseases and health conditions through comprehensive nutrition care. You will collaborate closely with medical and nursing staff, serving as a vital nutrition consultant for patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Care Planning: Develop and implement individual nutrition care plans based on patient needs, dietary regimens, and current medical treatment.
Clinical Assessments: Assess nutritional needs using medical records, nutrition history, intake records, laboratory results, and other clinical documentation.
Nutritional Counseling: Provide counseling and medical nutrition therapy to support disease prevention and treatment.
Diet & Menu Management: Plan therapeutic diets and menus; calculate weight range, body mass index, daily caloric intake, protein, fluid, and other nutrient requirements.
Quality Assurance: Review the caloric and nutrient content of individual and facility menus (including protein, vitamins, and minerals) to determine and implement necessary adjustments.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Serve as an expert consultant to medical and nursing staff regarding nutritional status, dietary needs, and comprehensive care planning.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Licensure: Must be currently licensed as a Registered Dietitian (RD).
Education: Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university in dietetics, nutrition, or a closely related field.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of professional dietetics experience, which must include at least one (1) year of direct experience as a Registered Dietitian.
Note: Additional graduate coursework in dietetics or nutrition may substitute for up to one year of the non-specialized experience requirement.

Workdays: Monday through Friday
Hours: 7.5 hours per day
Shift Times: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM CST
Weekends: Saturday and Sunday off (No weekend rotations)
