Job Summary
Nutrition In Motion is a growing outpatient nutrition practice with locations in Wilmington, Jacksonville, and Supply, North Carolina; Fayetteville, North Carolina; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Clearwater, Florida. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Outpatient Registered Dietitian to join our expanding healthcare team.

As an Outpatient Registered Dietitian, you will assess patients’ nutritional needs, provide medical nutrition therapy, develop individualized care plans, and guide patients toward achievable long-term health goals. Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive initial nutrition assessments and follow-up appointments to evaluate patients’ nutritional needs and health goals.
Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on each patient’s medical conditions, lifestyle, preferences, and wellness objectives.
Provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and counseling for a variety of conditions, including weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and general wellness.
Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition care plans as needed to support sustainable, long-term health outcomes.
Educate and motivate patients to develop practical, sustainable eating habits and make meaningful lifestyle changes.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
Stay current with nutrition science, clinical guidelines, and best practices through continuing education and professional development.
Participate in team meetings, health fairs, educational seminars, and other community or practice initiatives as needed.
Support the continued growth and development of Nutrition In Motion’s outpatient nutrition services across multiple locations.

Qualifications
Qualifications
Required
Current Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and evidence-based nutrition practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and motivate them toward positive, sustainable lifestyle changes.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to nutrition counseling and care.
