Purpose:
Join the multidisciplinary team at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center and play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their cancer journey. The Clinical Dietitian provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT to a diverse oncology population across the continuum of care, including patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, stem cell transplantation, and survivorship care.
UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is currently hiring for a Regular Full-Time Dietician II to support our Oncology team at the Hillman Cancer Center in Shadyside/Pittsburgh, PA. This position will work a Regular Full-Time variable Monday-Friday daylight schedule at the Hillman Cancer Center in Shadyside/Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role, develop individualized nutrition care plans, provide counseling and education, and collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. The dietitian works with patients experiencing a wide variety of nutrition-related concerns, including malnutrition, weight loss, treatment side effects, gastrointestinal complications, enteral feeding and specialized nutrition support needs.
