Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Dietitians based at Ayrshire Central Hospital. These posts are offered on a permanent basis.
Hours:
Post 1: Up to 36 hours per week.
Post 2: 18 hours per week.
Flexible working patterns are available and considered.
From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.
UK Driving Licence:
A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
What you will do:
Within the North Community Dietetic Team, the post holders will deliver a high‑quality specialist dietetic service, providing expert clinical assessment, intervention, education and support to patients and their carers. The role includes responsibility for comprehensive patient assessment, case management, treatment planning and coordinated discharge for adults with complex rehabilitation and long‑term health needs.
