Team Red Dog is hiring a Digital Asset Content Manager for our client, a creative technology powerhouse and global digital experience innovator. In this highly collaborative, fully remote role you'll lead the strategy, organization, and governance of digital asset management (DAM) and content management systems (CMS) that support one of the world's most recognizable gaming studios. You'll partner with cross-functional teams across game development, marketing, design, licensing, and operations to build scalable content taxonomies, improve asset discoverability, and optimize creative workflows that enable teams around the globe to work more efficiently. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced digital asset management professional who enjoys bringing order to complex creative ecosystems while helping shape the future of content operations in the gaming industry.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. Digital Asset Management (DAM) & Content Management Systems (CMS) – Extensive experience organizing, maintaining, and governing large-scale digital asset repositories, including metadata management, taxonomy development, naming conventions, and content lifecycle management.
  2. Digital Asset Organization & Creative Workflow Management – Experience managing diverse creative assets while partnering with marketing, design, game development, and business teams to improve asset accessibility, consistency, and operational efficiency.
  3. Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office – Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, and Microsoft Office tools to support creative asset management, documentation, reporting, and collaboration.
  4. Cross-Functional Program & Stakeholder Management – Proven ability to coordinate projects across global teams, manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with technical and creative stakeholders, and drive CMS/DAM initiatives from planning through implementation.

Opportunity Overview:

If you're passionate about organizing creative content and enabling teams to do their best work, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence how digital assets are managed across an internationally recognized gaming studio. You'll play a foundational role in designing scalable content management processes, evaluating industry-leading DAM and CMS platforms, and helping establish long-term standards that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing across the organization.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manage and organize large-scale digital asset libraries supporting multiple business functions across the studio.
  • Develop and maintain metadata standards, naming conventions, taxonomies, and content hierarchies to improve asset discoverability.
  • Partner with game development, art, marketing, licensing, operations, education, community, and localization teams to understand and support content management needs.
  • Lead assessments of digital asset management and content management solutions while helping define implementation strategies.
  • Coordinate CMS and DAM projects, including timelines, stakeholder communication, vendor engagement, and software evaluation.
  • Collaborate with IT and business leaders on third-party software procurement, onboarding, and governance.
  • Improve studio-wide content management processes and recommend workflow enhancements that increase productivity and consistency.
  • Respond to asset requests while ensuring digital content is properly organized, secure, and accessible.
  • Create documentation, standards, and processes that support long-term knowledge management and digital asset governance.
  • Handle confidential creative materials while maintaining compliance with studio security and confidentiality requirements.

The expertise you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience working with digital asset management systems, content management systems, or large-scale content repositories.
  • Experience creating taxonomies, metadata structures, naming conventions, and digital content organization strategies.
  • Strong understanding of digital asset lifecycle management and media archiving best practices.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Bridge.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple teams, departments, and time zones.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Project management experience supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience writing documentation, processes, or technical content.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects while consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Availability to support an engagement through June 30, 2027, with sufficient network eligibility.

What makes a candidate highly successful in this role:

Highly successful candidates have hands-on experience managing enterprise-scale digital asset repositories and can demonstrate expertise in metadata strategy, taxonomy design, content governance, and asset lifecycle management. They understand both the technical and creative sides of content operations, communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and have experience supporting creative teams within gaming, entertainment, media, or other fast-paced digital environments. Experience with Frontify, Confluence, Canto Cumulus, library science, information architecture, or digital cataloging methodologies is especially valuable.
