Digital Associate Account Manager 

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)
Duration: 12-month contract with potential to extend or convert!
Pay Rate: $55/hr
 

Position Overview

The Digital Associate Account Manager will support an internal agency team by managing day-to-day client relationships, coordinating digital marketing initiatives, and ensuring successful execution of digital projects from kickoff through completion. This role partners closely with Account Managers, Brand Teams, Creative Teams, Business Technology Solutions (BTS), and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong advertising agency experience, a background managing digital marketing projects, and the ability to successfully coordinate multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Managers to manage daily client activities and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between clients, creative teams, external agencies, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives including:
    • Interactive sales aids
    • Email campaigns
    • Banner advertisements
    • Websites
    • Mobile applications
    • Digital portals
  • Gather, document, and communicate project requirements to ensure successful execution.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, approvals, and workflow from initiation through completion.
  • Coordinate with creative, production, technology, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Support project estimates, timelines, billing activities, and financial tracking.
  • Monitor project status, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of corporate branding guidelines, promotional material development, compliance requirements, and review processes.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide clear communication updates across stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience within an advertising agency, creative agency, or digital marketing agency environment.
  • Experience managing client accounts, digital projects, or integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics and production workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with creative, account, technology, and client teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated industry agency experience.
  • Experience supporting Medical/Regulatory/Legal (MRL) review processes.
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms and workflow tools.
  • Experience with promotional materials, brand marketing, or omnichannel campaigns.
  • Experience with tools such as Workfront, Veeva Vault PromoMats, or similar agency workflow platforms.
