Job Description & Summary

A career within our Digital Audit team, part of Risk Assurance Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations build trust in their technology, data and IT processes. As companies increasingly rely on digital solutions, Digital Audit professionals help clients understand and manage technology-related risks, assess IT environments supporting financial reporting, evaluate automated controls and leverage data-driven approaches to improve transparency and confidence in IT operations.

As a Digital Audit Intern, you will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of business, technology and risk, working alongside experienced professionals on projects across various industries while developing valuable technical, analytical and consulting skills.

You will help us with:

• Supporting the assessment of IT systems, processes and controls that support business and financial operations

• Participating in testing of automated and manual IT controls

• Analyzing data and identifying trends, anomalies and areas of potential risk

• Assisting in the review of cybersecurity, access management and IT governance practices

• Supporting audit teams through the use of digital tools and data analytics

• Preparing reports, presentations and client deliverables

• Conducting research on emerging technology, risk and regulatory topics

We would expect:

• Final year student or recent graduate in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Organizational Sciences or a related field

• Strong interest in technology, business processes, risk management and auditing

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of information

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel

• Interest in data analytics, business intelligence or emerging technologies

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal

• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a team

• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and openness to feedback

• Curiosity and motivation to develop a career in technology-enabled assurance and advisory services

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Python or other data analytics tools

• Understanding of databases, information systems or business processes

• Knowledge of cybersecurity, IT governance or risk management concepts

• Previous internship, project or university experience involving data analysis or technology
