ABOUT THE POSITION

The Digital Communications Manager leads the Court's digital and internal communications strategy, overseeing governance, standards, accessibility, branding, and performance across all digital platforms. This role exercises significant independent judgment, provides expert guidance to Court leadership, supervises the Digital Communications Team, and supports consistent, compliant, and effective communication. The Manager collaborates with judicial officers, administrators, information technology teams, and internal stakeholders to coordinate communication needs and implement digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Digital Communications Team and guide daily operations across social media, websites, intranet, digital signage, and internal channels.
  • Provide guidance on digital communication opportunities, best practices and emerging digital media trends.
  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives that shape Court messaging and ensure consistent, accurate, and risk-aware communication.
  • Direct the development and execution of strategic internal and external digital media campaigns that increase engagement, expand reach, and elevate awareness of Court programs, services, and initiatives.
  • Manage content pipelines, editorial calendars, branding and visual identity efforts, and analytics to optimize engagement and communication effectiveness.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships related to digital platforms, technology enhancements, and system upgrades.
  • Serve as a hands-on individual contributor on select high-priority digital communications deliverables, directly producing content, copy, or creative assets alongside the team
  • Develops and oversee governance, quality standards, accessibility, standard operation procedures legal compliance, and performance across all digital and internal communication platforms.

THIS IS A TELEWORK ELIGIBLE OPPORTUNITY

This position may be eligible for full or partial telework following an initial training period and contingent upon the needs of the Court.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS

To qualify, you must meet one of the following options at the final filing date of this bulletin:

OPTION I: Bachelors degree* in marketing, journalism, graphic design, communications, public relations or closely related field -AND- three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in digital communications.

OPTION lI: Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in digital communications.

Note: Credit for experience is based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a pro rate basis (e.g. working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience). Overtime does not count toward additional credit.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supervising or leading a communications or digital media team.
  • Experience managing projects with a high degree of autonomy from start to conclusion including moderating calls and meetings, overseeing project timelines and milestones, and coordinating stakeholders to ensure work is delivered on schedule.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement digital communication strategies.
  • Experience analyzing performance analytics related to digital content.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of digital media platforms, tools, and best practices to effectively plan, create, and manage high-quality digital communications.
  • Experience creating digital content that meets accessibility standards.

MegaFlex Benefit Plan

Benefits may be purchased using a tax-free monthly benefits allowance of 14.5% or 17% of the employees monthly salary or $1,300.00, whichever is greater. Flexible Spending Accounts

Annual Leave - Instead of traditional sick and vacation leave, employees earn 10 days of annual leave per year and may buy up to 20 additional days of annual leave.
