Website management
Plan, implement, manage, monitor, update, and upgrade the organization's website, ensuring full compliance with all laws and regulations.
Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
Collaborate with other departments to create appropriate website content aligned to the organization’s strategy.
Keep up-to-date with industry best practice and monitor competitor websites.
Offer website training to key users.
Project Management
Turn strategy and vision into reality. Collaborate with writers, designers, and other professionals, to produce content.
Create project budgets and timelines.
Manage and update the college website and maintain accessibility standards.
Assist with the development and oversight of social media content strategies aligned with institutional goals.
Produce, film, and edit professional video content for digital campaigns, promotional materials, and event coverage.
Capture professional event and promotional photography ensuring quality, subject presentation, and brand consistency.
Create digital content for college marketing and event campaigns, forwarding the college’s goals and initiatives through targeted digital storytelling.
Respond rapidly to real-time digital communication needs, including the posting of emergency notifications during and outside business hours.
Monitor digital marketing trends and viral engagement opportunities.
Conduct internal professional development training session.
Editing and Production
Provide editing support, including proof reading, error checking, and fact checking, and production support for a variety of marketing materials in different formats (video, print, digital).
Assist Director of Communication and Marketing with drafting major college newsletters, including CCC Connections, Campus Happenings, and Alumni Connections (monthly) when necessary and applicable.
Brand Compliance
Develops, monitors, and ensures compliance with institutional branding, quality, and regulatory guidelines on institution’s website.
Manage and maintain all photo, video and other equipment associated with duties, advising and supporting upgrades, product selection and usage as needed.
Stay current on emerging marketing trends and technologies.
Collaborate actively with Communications and Marketing team members.
Support events during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Expertise in digital communications strategy.
Strong multimedia content production, video editing, and photography skills.
Rapid response capability for emergent communications needs.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508).
Team collaboration and cross-departmental coordination skills.
Ability to write well, employing accepted principles of journalism, proofreading and editing skills.
Ability to organize tasks and activities essential to performing the specific duties and responsibilities of this job.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires frequent and continuous sitting/moving about, continuous use of fine motor skills, and pushing and pulling of up to 20 lbs.
SCHEDULE DETAILS:
Must be available to work 40 hrs. per week with normal work hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Frequent evening and weekend hours may be required.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a closely related field OR an equivalent combination of education and directly related professional experience.
Two (2) years of digital content management, videography, photography, social media engagement, or multimedia production experience.
Proficiency with CMS platforms, multimedia editing software, video and photography equipment, and social media management tools.
Knowledge and understanding of current authoring languages, editing, and authoring tools, and related website technologies.
Ability to evaluate new and evolving website technologies.
Knowledge and understanding of internet operations and functionality, and a wide range of internet programming and design tools.
Knowledge of CMS environment, HTML, CSS, PHP, web page creation, and website maintenance.
Familiar with publishing design layout, using a wide range of desktop applications including professional publishing programs, word processing and data spreadsheets.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree in IT, marketing/communications or related field and two years of experience.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere).
FAA Part 107 Drone Operator Certification.
Certifications in social media marketing (e.g., Hootsuite Academy, Google Digital Garage).
FEMA Emergency Communications Training.
Web and digital accessibility certification or training.
