Position Information:
The Digital Content Student Assistant, under general supervision, will support Texas A&M AgriLife Marketing and Communication's event promotion process from start to finish.
The student worker will create event advances, select appropriate image(s) to accompany both the event advance and calendar entry, upload event advance and images to WordPress, develop calendar entry and aid in the distribution of event advance to media channels via Cision. This role is open only to current Texas A&M University students.
Day-to-day activities will vary and you may be asked to help with other tasks and working collaboratively with team members on projects.
All AgriLife Marketing and Communications student workers complete a project aligned with the AgriLife Marketing and Communications strategic plan, creating a small-scale campaign or initiative using the PESO model. Projects vary by role and may be implemented in real-world applications, providing portfolio-ready work.
