Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Digital Design Modeler for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will develop high-fidelity interior and exterior digital models that accurately bring design concepts to life in a fast-paced environment.

Rate Range: $28/Hour to $30/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Digital Design Modeler Responsibilities include:

• Develop high-fidelity interior and exterior digital models that accurately reflect design intent and meet project requirements.

• Create, refine, and manage Class-A and production-ready surfaces using industry-standard 3D modeling tools.

• Interpret technical data, engineering specifications, and design documentation to ensure accurate model execution.

• Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to support project development and delivery timelines.

• Apply surface development expertise to solve complex design challenges while maintaining quality and accuracy.

• Ensure timely completion of digital modeling projects while adapting to evolving design requirements and priorities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum one year of professional experience in 3D digital modeling within an automotive, transportation, or product design environment.

• Demonstrated proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Alias, Rhino, Blender, Gravity Sketch, or similar tools, supported by a strong portfolio of work.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering data, surface specifications, and design documentation while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
