Digital Designer to join their collaborative Creative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a multidisciplinary designer with a strong portfolio spanning digital marketing, web design, branding, visual identity, and print.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $70k - $85k
Position Overview: The ideal candidate for the Digital Designer role has a strong foundation in design and typography, excellent attention to detail, and a working knowledge of today's leading design tools and digital platforms. This is a client-facing role that will work closely with Designers, Copywriters, Strategists, Developers, Project Managers, and senior creative leaders. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, bring a thoughtful and creative perspective to projects, and have the communication and organizational skills needed to confidently manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities of the Digital Designer:- Collaborate with creative, strategy, copywriting, development, and project management teams to execute innovative work across a variety of clients and industries.
- Design and develop digital marketing campaigns, websites, landing pages, email campaigns, mobile experiences, social media assets, and other digital communications.
- Contribute to brand identities, visual systems, print collateral, packaging, and other marketing materials as needed.
- Translate client objectives and creative strategy into compelling, polished design solutions.
- Create wireframes, user flows, site maps, mockups, storyboards, and other digital design documentation.
- Design web graphics, animations, user interfaces, icons, templates, layouts, and other digital assets.
- Maintain visual consistency and brand standards across digital and print deliverables.
- Prepare files for both digital and print production, with a strong understanding of production best practices.
- Partner with Developers and external vendors to ensure designs are technically feasible and executed accurately.
- Present creative concepts and design rationale clearly and confidently to internal teams and clients.
- Incorporate feedback effectively while maintaining the integrity of the overall creative vision.
- Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to the overall creative vision and maintain a high standard of design excellence across client work.
Required Experience/Skills for the Digital Designer:- Approximately 1 - 5 years of relevant design experience within a creative agency, design studio, in-house creative team, or through substantial freelance work.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating multidisciplinary design experience with an emphasis on digital.
- Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of digital design, including email marketing, UI/UX, web design, and social media.
- Strong foundation in typography, color theory, composition, branding, and visual identity.
- Understanding of digital and print production processes and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to confidently explain creative decisions.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and receptive to feedback.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Curious, creative, solutions-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Digital Designer:- Experience working within a creative agency, design studio, or fast-paced in-house creative environment.
- Familiarity with After Effects or other motion design tools is highly preferred.
- Experience with WordPress, Keynote, Canva, or other design platforms is a plus.
- Experience designing for premium, lifestyle, hospitality, beauty, retail, financial services, or consumer brands.
- Experience working across multiple creative disciplines, including digital marketing, web, email, social media, branding, and print.
- Familiarity with motion design and animation, particularly Adobe After Effects.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related discipline is required.
