OVERVIEW

The Digital Marketing & Content Specialist will support the execution of digital marketing initiatives across Fortified Brands and its portfolio of business units. This role is responsible for managing website content, social media, email marketing, digital assets, and multimedia content while helping ensure consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints.

The ideal candidate is a creative, organized, and digitally savvy marketer who enjoys both content creation and digital execution. This position works closely with the Marketing Director, Graphic Designer, sales teams, product management, and external partners to support marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Digital Marketing

  • Maintain and update company websites, including Shopify storefronts and WordPress pages.
  • Create and deploy email marketing campaigns.
  • Support SEO best practices and website content optimization.
  • Monitor digital performance and provide basic reporting and recommendations.

Social Media & Content

  • Create, schedule, and manage social media content across multiple business units.
  • Develop engaging written, visual, and video content for digital channels.
  • Assist with photography, short-form video production, and video editing.
  • Repurpose content across websites, email campaigns, and social platforms.

Ecommerce Support

  • Support with update product listings, collections, promotions, and product content within Shopify.
  • Support merchandising initiatives and online customer experience improvements.
  • Assist with digital campaigns that drive online sales and customer engagement.

Marketing Operations

  • Organize and maintain digital marketing assets, photography, videos, and content libraries.
  • Coordinate marketing projects and workflows using project management tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to execute marketing initiatives.
  • Support trade shows, events, and other marketing programs as needed.

Education/Experience/Additional Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or social media management.
  • Experience managing websites using Shopify, WordPress and others.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo ,HubSpot, or Mailchimp.
  • Experience creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Basic video editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar software.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO best practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Microsoft Office, and AI productivity tools.
