About the Role

Essity Health and Medical Solutions is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Automation Manager to lead strategic digital marketing initiatives for assigned therapy brand areas, and will be responsible for developing, executing, optimizing, and measuring integrated marketing programs across websites, email communications, social media, marketing automation platforms, and digital campaigns.

The ideal candidate should live in Philadelphia, PA or Charlotte, NC.

What You Will Do

This role bridges brand strategy and digital execution by translating business objectives into comprehensive digital marketing plans.

The Digital Marketing Automation Manager serves as the primary digital marketing advisor to the Brand Marketing teams and develops and leads integrated digital marketing strategies aligned to therapy area brand objectives:

• Integrated digital campaign planning and execution
• Website strategy, governance, and SEO
• Email marketing strategy and execution
• Manage marketing automation platforms and define customer journeys
• Social media strategy and optimization
• Analytics, reporting, and performance optimization
• Digital agencies and vendor management

1. Website governance/SEO

• Own website strategy and content roadmaps for assigned brands
• Prioritize website enhancements and ongoing maintenance requests
• Partner with Brand Teams to ensure content aligns to customer needs and business goals
• Coordinate website projects with vendors, agencies, IT, and key internal stakeholders
• Oversee SEO implementation and content optimization
• Monitor website performance and recommend improvements
• Lead website quality assurance and launch readiness reviews

2. Social media strategy

• Develop and manage annual social media strategies across assigned brands

• Partner with agencies and vendors on content execution and reporting
• Align with Brand Teams on social content planning and advise on audience engagement recommendations/best practices
• Manage organic and paid social optimization recommendations
• Monitor social performance and identify growth opportunities
• Ensure alignment between social channels and broader campaign objectives

3. Email marketing

• Own email communication strategy and execution, including “Always On” emails as well as campaign-specific and other electronic comms as needed
• Align with Brand Marketing Teams on content planning and advise on audience engagement recommendations/best practices
• Develop and deploy segmented email campaigns through ClickDimensions and HubSpot
• Create and optimize marketing automation workflows
• Manage audience segmentation and database quality
• Conduct A/B testing and personalization initiatives
• Ensure compliance with legal, privacy, and regulatory requirements

4. Marketing automation platforms

• Support adoption of marketing technology platforms (HubSpot, Asana, ClickDimensions, CRM)
• Optimize campaign workflows using Asana and marketing automation tools
• Improve campaign tracking and reporting processes
• Identify automation opportunities
• Maintain documentation and process standards
• Provide training and support to marketing stakeholders

Who You Are

• 5+ years of digital marketing experience with demonstrated success leading integrated digital marketing campaigns
• Proven expertise in website strategy, SEO, content optimization, and website governance, including partnership with agencies, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms and marketing automation platforms, such as HubSpot, ClickDimensions, and related campaign management tools
• Experience developing and optimizing email marketing programs, customer journeys, audience segmentation, A/B testing, and lead nurturing campaigns
• Deep understanding of organic and paid social media strategy, content planning, audience engagement, and performance optimization
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders across regions and functions
• Strong analytical skills with experience measuring campaign performance, interpreting digital metrics, and making data-driven recommendations to improve results
• Demonstrated success managing external agencies, vendors, and digital partners while balancing strategic priorities and project execution
• Healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated-industry marketing experience preferred, with knowledge of privacy and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills with the ability to translate business objectives into effective digital marketing strategies
