Description
Summary
The Digital Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in executing digital marketing initiatives that engage fans, support business objectives, and enhance the digital experience across all team platforms; Buffalo Sabres (NHL), Buffalo Bandits (NLL) and KeyBank Center. This position is responsible for creating and deploying email communications, coordinating digital updates across the organization's websites and mobile app, developing engaging digital fan activations, supporting internal and external marketing initiatives, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize future campaigns and drive continued growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
Configure and publish website updates to meet brand-specific needs using content management systems
Manage all elements of the email campaign process, including building templates and deploying messages for multiple brands
Create, deploy, and fulfill unique and engaging fan sweepstakes, giveaways, fan votes, and eGaming activations
Collaborate with other departments to assist with ticket product launches, event announcements, digital media guides, and other updates as needed
Create and maintain both internal and fan facing contact and interest forms using management system
Assist with and manage in-person and digital fan activations and events throughout the year
Track KPI's and create reports to monitor success and inform future campaigns
Optimize email campaigns, including dynamic content, targeted audiences, and compelling subject lines
Perform detailed brand, compliance and functionality audits across all digital platforms
Monitor web and mobile app platforms to ensure sponsorship requirements are applied properly
Preserve the integrity of all data, including email opt-in permissions
Remain current with all digital, email and lifecycle marketing industry trends
Contribute to marketing brainstorms and campaign ideation
Maintain upmost confidentiality as applicable
Other projects and duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications for the Position:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required
1-2 years of relevant marketing or digital experience
Working knowledge of Eloqua (or email marketing automation), Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and basic HTML is preferred
Additional skills in graphic design, copywriting, and sports industry experience are a plus
Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays if needed

Compensation: This role is hourly and pays between $18.60-$20.00 per hour. Note: Wages will be determined based on factors such as candidate experience, qualifications, skill set and internal equity.
