Description

Full-time · Remote (United States) · $85K–$110K + Equity

About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing, Series A-funded technology company using AI and computer vision to help cities, counties, and airports manage infrastructure more safely and sustainably. In business for nearly eight years with a lean team of ~20 people, the company works primarily with government and public-sector clients, with an expanding presence in the airport vertical. Strong revenue growth and a recent funding round provide the stability of an established business with the upside of an early-stage company.

The Opportunity

This is an owner-operator role for someone who wants to drive marketing initiatives end-to-end rather than support someone else's execution. You'll work directly with senior leadership, sales, and customer teams — with no layers of bureaucracy between your work and its impact. As you prove yourself, there's a clear path to grow into more strategic positioning, messaging, and go-to-market work.

What You'll Do
  • Plan and execute industry conferences, client dinners, and hosted events (3–4 major events, 4–5 regional events, and 2 customer events annually) from concept through post-event follow-up
  • Own event logistics: booth design, swag, staffing, registration, travel coordination, and ROI tracking
  • Create compelling content — one-pagers, case studies, buying guides, blog posts, and sales enablement assets — for public-sector and enterprise buyers
  • Manage social media cadence across LinkedIn and other channels, collaborating on messaging and positioning
  • Maintain the marketing calendar and project tracker; support webinars, product demos, and customer presentations
  • Manage relationships with vendors, agencies, and partners, continuously improving event participation and marketing operations

What We're Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing coordination, event planning, or content production, with a track record of shipping projects independently
  • Hands-on content creation experience — social copy, sales enablement assets, written content
  • Experience planning and executing field/industry events
  • B2B marketing experience, ideally in a regulated industry (insurance, fintech, pharma) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • A proactive self-starter who takes ownership without needing heavy direction
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment, wearing multiple hats
  • Willingness to travel for 6–8 events per year
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)

Details
  • Compensation: $85,000–$110,000 base + competitive equity
  • Location: Remote, United States (travel required for events)
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Tech stack: Google Workspace, HubSpot, Canva, Figma, LinkedIn
