Rate of Pay:
This is a full-time, on-site, Support Staff position at grade 215, with an annual salary range of $74,723 to $99,630. The salary offer will be based on education and experience, in alignment with the College's compensation philosophy and the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), if applicable.

Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Manager provides strategic leadership for Elgin Community College''s digital marketing initiatives, including digital advertising, marketing automation, search engine optimization, analytics, and campaign performance. The position manages the Digital Marketing team and collaborates with Marketing Strategy, Web Services, Enrollment Services, and departments across the college to develop and optimize integrated digital marketing strategies that advance enrollment, student success, institutional awareness, community engagement, and fundraising goals through measurable, data-driven outcomes.

Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, SEMrush, SQL, HTML, and project management platforms.

Essential Duties:
Digital Marketing Strategy & Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead the development and execution of integrated digital marketing strategies that support enrollment, student success, institutional awareness, fundraising, workforce development, and community engagement.
Partner with stakeholders across the college to develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Establish campaign objectives, audience strategies, tactics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Email Marketing & Automation
Lead the college''s email marketing and marketing automation initiatives.
Serve as the Marketing & Communications lead for Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation, governance, and optimization.
Develop and manage communication journeys, email campaigns, audience segmentation, and automation strategies that support recruitment, enrollment, retention, and engagement goals.
Monitor campaign performance and implement continuous improvements.
Digital Advertising & Campaign Optimization
Lead the planning, execution, budget management, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns.
Oversee advertising across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft/Bing, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations to maximize results and return on investment.
Prepare performance and expenditure reports and support budget planning activities.
Analytics, Measurement & Performance Reporting
Lead digital analytics, measurement, and performance reporting efforts.
Develop dashboards and reports that measure marketing effectiveness and user engagement.
Analyze campaign and website data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Present findings and recommendations to leadership and campus stakeholders.
SEO / AEO / GEO Strategy
Develop and implement search optimization strategies that improve visibility across traditional and AI-powered search platforms.
Lead Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) initiatives.
Partner with content and web teams to improve search performance and digital discoverability.
Monitor emerging trends and recommend strategic improvements.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
Provide leadership and supervision for the Digital Marketing team.
Establish priorities, assign work, and support employee development.
Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team and college partners.
Communications Support
Serve as a member of the Marketing & Communications Crisis Communications Team.
Support digital communication strategies during emergency situations.
Coordinate digital channels to distribute timely and accurate information during crises.
Other Duties:
Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and institutional objectives.
