About the Role
D&D Home Remodeling is looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing & Social Media Manager to lead our online marketing, content strategy, and digital presence.
This is not just a social media posting role.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of our marketing strategy, create and capture high-quality content from real remodeling projects, manage our social media channels, improve our local and AI search visibility, and coordinate additional freelance support for editing, graphic design, and content production.
You will have the ability to build and manage a small remote marketing team using freelance talent while remaining responsible for strategy, quality, execution, and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the company's overall digital marketing strategy.
- Manage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and other relevant platforms.
- Visit active remodeling projects to capture photos and video content.
- Create strong Before / During / After project content.
- Develop Reels, educational content, client testimonials and project showcases.
- Build and manage a weekly and monthly content calendar.
- Manage freelance video editors, graphic designers and content assistants.
- Review and approve outsourced work before publishing.
- Manage and optimize Google Business Profile.
- Support Local SEO and organic Google rankings.
- Help develop SEO and AI-search-friendly content.
- Coordinate website content, city pages, project pages and service pages.
- Help improve visibility across Google, AI search platforms, Reddit and relevant online communities.
- Build systems for generating Google and Yelp reviews from completed projects.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond or coordinate responses when necessary.
- Track leads, traffic, engagement and marketing performance.
- Provide monthly reporting on marketing activity, leads and results.
- Work closely with ownership, sales, design and project management teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media or content marketing.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
- Experience producing and directing short-form video content.
- Strong eye for branding, photography and visual presentation.
- Comfortable visiting construction sites and capturing content in the field.
- Experience managing freelancers or remote team members.
- Understanding of Google Business Profile and Local SEO.
- Basic to strong understanding of SEO.
- Interest or experience in AI Search / Generative Engine Optimization is a major plus.
- Ability to use analytics to measure marketing performance.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of a department.
