Job Overview:

Amica is implementing Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to deliver more personalized, data-driven experiences across the customer lifecycle. We are hiring a Digital Marketing Technologist for our Marketing Data Science team to serve as Amica''s in-house subject matter expert, partnering across Marketing, Digital, IT, Data Science, Sales, and Service to meet business goals by continuously evolving the platform to drive acquisition, retention, cross-sell, and service experiences.

This is a hybrid business and technical role. The ideal candidate brings hands-on AEP experience, marketing technology fluency, and a working understanding of the insurance customer, including quoting, binding, policy servicing, and renewal. Equally comfortable configuring schemas and audiences as facilitating a workshop for business and marketing stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Platform Ownership & Operations

  • Serve as system owner and SME for AEP (RTCDP, AJO, CJA); ensure availability, performance, governance, and ongoing adoption.
  • Manage data ingestion (batch and streaming), XDM schemas, datasets, identities, audiences, journeys, and destinations.
  • Maintain platform documentation including solution designs, data dictionaries, use case catalogs, and operational runbooks.
  • Monitor data quality, identity resolution, and consent/privacy controls; identify and remediate issues proactively.
  • Triage and resolve platform issues in collaboration with service providers and Adobe.

Business Partnership & Use Case Delivery

  • Partner with Marketing, Digital, Sales, Service, and Product to identify high-value use cases and translate them into AEP requirements.
  • Lead intake, prioritization, and roadmap for new audiences, journeys, and analytics use cases.
  • Own the effort to design and operate orchestrated, multi-channel customer journeys in AJO across email, SMS, push, in-app, and paid media.
  • Accountable for building and maintaining audiences in RTCDP aligned to lifecycle stages, including quote completion, conversion, retention, win-back, cross-sell, and renewal.
  • Partner with other Marketing Data Science team members in building CJA dashboards and analyses to measure campaign performance, journey health, and customer behavior across channels.

Strategy & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and evolve the AEP roadmap aligned to Amica''s customer experience and marketing objectives.
  • Partner with other Marketing Data Science team members in establishing measurement frameworks and KPIs for use cases (engagement, conversion, retention, LTV).
  • Identify and prioritize new integrations with adjacent systems, for example policy administration, CRM, web/mobile, ad platforms, CMS/DAM.
  • Stay current on Adobe roadmap, insurance industry trends, and martech best practices.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Work effectively in a matrixed environment with internal teams and external partners (Adobe, implementation partners, agencies).
  • Provide enablement, training, and desk-side coaching to business users on AEP capabilities and self-service paths.
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and executive sponsors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor''s degree in marketing, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing technology, customer data platforms, CRM, or digital marketing operations.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AEP, including direct working experience with at least two of: RTCDP, AJO, CJA
  • Working knowledge of XDM data modeling, identity stitching, schemas, datasets, segments/audiences, and destinations.
  • Experience with data ingestion patterns (batch and streaming), source/destination connectors, and AEP APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions and measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage competing demands.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in insurance (P&C, life, or financial services) with a working familiarity with policy lifecycle, quoting, and agent/direct distribution models.
  • Adobe certifications (Business Practitioner, Developer) in RTCDP, AJO, and/or CJA.
  • Experience with adjacent Adobe stack tools: Adobe Analytics, Target, and Launch/Tags.
  • Experience integrating AEP with policy administration systems, Salesforce or other CRM, web/mobile analytics, paid media platforms, and CMS/DAM.
  • Vendor and partner management experience with Adobe, system integrators, and creative/media agencies.

Core Capabilities

  • Customer-obsessed mindset balanced with technical rigor and operational discipline.
  • Proactive problem-solver; comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
  • Strong critical thinking; able to anticipate downstream impacts and design for scale.
  • Self-starter who drives outcomes with limited supervision and a bias toward action.

Total Rewards:
