The Part-Time Digital Media Specialist at St. Gerard Majella Parish and School is responsible for creating and managing engaging digital and visual content that supports the parish's mission. Working collaboratively with the Communications Coordinator, this role focuses on social media, photography, video production, and emerging platforms to promote parish life, highlight events, and foster deeper engagement within the parish community and beyond. This position requires 8-10 hours per week as well.
Demonstrated experience in social media management, photography, and video production. Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar). Strong visual storytelling and creative skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for events. Practicing Catholic with an understanding of Catholic identity and mission. Demonstrates pastoral sensitivity, discretion, and professionalism. Passion for evangelization and community engagement.
