Digital Press Operator

Are you an experienced Digital Press Operator looking to work  for a fast-paced print production facility in the Rochester area. This role is ideal for candidates with web and cut-sheet digital press experience who enjoy a dynamic environment and are eager to grow within the printing industry. Multitasking, attention to detail, and technical knowledge are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain digital press equipment (web and cut sheet)
• Create and adjust impositions as needed for each job
• Perform daily maintenance and follow production schedules
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Identify and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve processes
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• 3–5 years of experience in the printing industry preferred
• Solid understanding of digital press operations, layout, bleed, trim, and file prep
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and imposing software
• Knowledge of finishing equipment and paper types is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and production procedures
• Strong mechanical skills and manual dexterity
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet in a production environment
