Digital Press Setup & Quality Specialist

Your core responsibilities

  • Set up, calibrate, and operate at least two different digital press types
  • Follow GSP and industry specifications for every setup
  • Confirm every work order detail—job number, letter code, color type, and file accuracy—then complete a first-article inspection
  • Adjust press parameters to hit quality targets and meet/exceed print efficiency standards
  • Flag and communicate technical issues to Managers/Supervisors; collaborate with Maintenance Technicians
  • Complete daily and weekly documentation accurately and on time
  • Apply in-depth understanding of GSP workflows, processes, and procedures
  • Maintain maintenance logs and promptly report press downtime
  • Keep press and surrounding area clean; perform basic machine maintenance
  • Support adjacent departments and help train and coach teammates as required

Qualifications

  • Experience with 4-color process (preferred)
  • Mechanical aptitude (preferred)
  • Organized and detail-focused; able to juggle high-volume workloads without sacrificing accuracy
  • Deadline-driven with the ability to mitigate workflow disruptions
  • Comfortable with basic math, fractions, and percentages
  • Able to pass a basic skills assessment
  • English proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and comprehension
  • Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Available for weekend shifts and overtime as business requires
  • Strong safety orientation and safe work habits
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Professional communicator across all organizational levels
  • Resourceful, creative problem-solver
  • Team player who positively contributes to GSP’s culture

Proficiencies

  • Shop math skills

Pay

$18.00 per hour to start, based on experience.
