You begin by reviewing the day’s work orders and gathering the specified stock and inks. You confirm the job number, letter code, color type, and files, then produce a first-article print to verify everything matches before the run. From there, you dial in the press—registration, color, and throughput—to meet GSP quality and print efficiency standards. Throughout the shift, you keep the press line spotless, log maintenance and downtime, complete daily and weekly paperwork, and communicate any technical issues to Supervisors, Managers, and Maintenance Technicians. You confidently operate at least two different digital press types, support other departments as needed, and take time to coach teammates when asked.
