The challenge
- Prepare and operate digital presses for diverse, spec-driven jobs
- Continuously check output and make precise adjustments to maintain consistency
- Handle routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues before they escalate
- Coordinate with design and production to hit deadlines and requirements
- Log run data, material usage, and any exceptions for accurate records
- Work safely and uphold strict quality standards
Must-haves
- 3–6+ months of machine operator experience preferred
- Digital press experience welcomed but not required — we provide training
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong ownership of quality
- Resourceful problem-solver with mechanical aptitude
- Collaborative, steady under pace, and clear in communication
- Proficiency with machine setups for production runs
Pay, shifts, and location
- Location: Madison, WI 53704
- Hiring for 1st shift
- 2nd and 3rd shifts include a shift differential
- Entry pay for candidates without experience: $16–$17 per hour (training provided)
- Base rate excludes any second- or third-shift differential
- Experienced press operators’ wages will be commensurate with experience
