Digital Product Manager

Overview:

Compensation: $86,000-$110,000 (based on credentials and experience)

The Digital Product Manager is the primary advocate for Suncoast's Digital Delivery channels. The product suite includes Digital Banking Applications, the Product Acquisition Portfolio for online consumer deposit accounts, share, and loan applications, and an internal servicing platform. Key responsibilities include overseeing all product functions and directing their future development, collaborating with leadership and vendors, leveraging expertise and market research, and creating a roadmap for enhancing the product suites for members and staff. The roadmap is implemented through continuous collaboration with vendor partners, the internal Project Management Office (including project managers and business analysts), Enterprise Application teams (architecture, application development, QA, DevSecOps), and other internal teams. This collective effort provides value to Suncoast members by transforming ideas into launched products.

Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Partner with Architecture, Infrastructure, Information Security, Fraud Risk Management, and vendor teams to identify dependencies, technical requirements, risks, and solution opportunities
• Analyze, assess, and determine business value for program-level requests
• Champion new and innovative ideas by inquiring to understand the “why” and solving the problem
• Apply research and data analytics to develop authentic personas and inform design and user experience
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to maximize organizational goals and consumer value
• Ensure acceptance criteria are clear, appropriately sized, and aligned with team capabilities
• Oversee business analysis functions to deliver products to the development and execution teams
• Evaluate product performance and determine next steps or rework as needed
• Participate in go-to-market planning, user testing, and product decisions
• Maintain a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
• Utilize A/B testing, experimentation, and analytics to validate product decisions
• Collaborate with the UX/UI teams to ensure an intuitive and accessible product design
• Ensure compliance with accessibility, privacy, and security standards
• Conduct vendor evaluations, due diligence, and ongoing relationship management to ensure performance, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives
• Maintain a working knowledge of digital infrastructure, APIs, system integrations, authentication services, and emerging technologies to support informed product decisions
• Balance member experience, business objectives, technical constraints, security requirements, and operational needs when prioritizing product investments and enhancements
• Maintain knowledge and understanding of current trends, laws, and issues affecting the area of expertise
• Attend educational events to increase professional knowledge
• Complete annual compliance and info security training to understand employees' role in maintaining effective compliance and security programs

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements.)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or related roles
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with user research, testing, and feedback loops
• Experience with product analytics platforms (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics)
• Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
• Preferred certifications: CSPO, SAFe PM/PO, or Pragmatic Institute
• Ability to prioritize tasks by effectively managing competing and changing priorities to meet deadlines
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized with task management
• Ability to analyze and resolve difficult and often complex problems or situations
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with members, staff, vendors, and government regulators
• Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures
• Strong knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance
• Strong knowledge and understanding of credit union computer systems and software applications required to perform job duties
