Job Type: Contract
Max Pay Rate: $62/hr
Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days onsite | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Digital Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst to support a strategic merchant services digital application initiative. This role will act as both a product owner and senior business analyst, partnering closely with product, technology, operations, risk, and sales teams to support the design, delivery, and readiness of a customer-facing digital application.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in digital product delivery, business analysis, application workflows, stakeholder management, and Agile execution within enterprise environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support execution of a strategic merchant services digital application initiative
  • Partner with product owners, technology teams, and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
  • Translate business needs into user stories, features, and acceptance criteria
  • Support solution design discussions related to APIs, integrations, backend systems, and digital workflows
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement
  • Identify UAT use cases and support business readiness activities
  • Collaborate with communication and training teams to support operational readiness
  • Build presentations and reporting materials to communicate initiative progress to leadership
  • Balance customer experience, compliance requirements, and technical feasibility

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in:
    • Product management
    • Business analysis
    • Digital product delivery
    • Enterprise application initiatives
  • Strong experience with:
    • Requirements gathering and analysis
    • User story development
    • Process analysis and workflow mapping
    • Stakeholder management
    • Agile/Scrum environments
  • Understanding of:
    • APIs and system integrations
    • Digital application flows
    • UX/UI and customer journey concepts
    • Risk and compliance processes (KYC, AML, governance)
  • Experience with:
    • Jira
    • Confluence
    • Analytics/reporting tools
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

  • Experience in:
    • Merchant services
    • Financial services
    • Digital onboarding or application platforms
  • Exposure to:
    • Product roadmap planning
    • KPI tracking and funnel optimization
